This is a new build property in Berkshire where the clients where faced with a sloping patch of builder rubble. The challenge was to turn it into a practical and welcoming space suitable for a young professional couple.

Mission accomplished. The garden has been split into two with the lower level providing a private enclosed area suitable for entertaining. The planting is modern and contemporary offering great structure and year round interest.

A retaining wall built from timber sleepers set on edge doubles as additional seating.

The Indian sandstone paving complements the contemporary oak sleepers and modern planting.
