A Roof Top Garden
This is a semi-intensive roof top garden themed around the idea of a rooftop observatory, combining the classical with the contemporary.

The planting has an ephemeral touch. The grasses emphasis the sense of movement that would happen as the wind moves across the roof top.

The deck area is stained dark blue and impregnated with fibre optic lights to mirror the nightsky.
The classical colonnade is manufactured from GRP which allows the use of large structures in situations where weight would have previously been a limiting factor.
Poppies provide a fiery tail of planting behing the illuminated hemisphere that represents a comet shooting through the heavens.

Seasonal colour is provided by the day lillies and red hot pokers.

The columns are adorned with frangrant trachleospermum. The contemporary furniture echoes the shape of the deck.
